St Marie's Nursery

St Marie's Catholic Primary School is proud to offer a nursery that is attached to the school, open to all eligible three and four year old children for either 15 or 30 funded hours. It is run using similar styles to a Montessori setting whilst also providing English, Maths, R.E. and phonics sessions. Children have both an indoor and outdoor space where they can explore and have the opportunities to meet their Early Learning Goals (ELGs). We welcome you to visit our setting by arranging a meeting with the school office office@sma.magnificat.org.uk

A child has the right to attend the nursery of St Marie’s Catholic Primary School & Nursery from any setting, subject to available places and the admissions criteria. Once admitted to the provision, children may stay until they transfer to Reception in a primary or infant school; this is usually up until July of the next academic year that they turn 5. Attending the Nursery at St Marie’s will not mean that your child will automatically progress into the main school. You will need to apply for a separate school Reception place via the online Warwickshire County Council admissions system.

15 hour funded sessions

All Children are eligible to access their free early learning place from the start of the term after their third birthday. Once eligible, subject to availability of a place, children can start at the beginning of any of the three school terms (Autumn \ Spring \ Summer). Children attending our 15 hour funded places will be admitted to either an AM or PM session. We will do all we can to meet your preference, but we cannot guarantee to do so.

30 hour funded sessions

The 30 hour entitlement is available to three and four year olds of working parents who meet the earnings criteria. Children attending our 30 hour funded places will be admitted to both sessions (full day session) with an additional paid lunch period in between the AM and PM sessions.
