Our Mission Statement is 'we ASPIRE to love, live and learn, united as one family in the light of Christ'. We celebrate this mission through our school's values
We live and learn in Christ's love and light. Throughout our school journey, we know we are loved by God and we show God's love to others. With Christ at the centre of our school, our school's mission of A.S.P.I.R.E. is fully represented in our curriculum.
We believe at St Marie's that all pupils will have the opportunity to achieve their full potential. This is done through a stimulating school environment that will nurture their curiosity.
At St Marie's, we encourage the children to serve God. Thinking and acting in a way that represents the Catholic faith accurately.
With regular practice, we believe that knowledge taught can be embedded which leads to continued improvement in attainment and subject knowledge. Children are given opportunities within all subject areas to revisit topics which is shown to have a great impact on their understanding.
Working independently not only builds confidence in a pupil but allows their curiosity and imagination to inspire their work. We give pupils lots of opportunity within the curriculum to work independently.
Resilience is a skill taught to our pupils as soon as they become a part of our family. Inspired by Christ to never give up, we follow suit within our curriculum.
We want all pupils at St Marie's to enjoy their time here for all elements of the school day. The lessons we provide are engaging and stimulating with regular opportunities to work practically and in our school environment, including our Forest School area.
