The children had such a great time raising money this afternoon walking around Rugby School. Well done children for your fantastic behaviour and energetic walking. And thank you to all parents and carers who have donated to CAFOD. So far, we have raised £377 for such a wonderful cause. Here is the link if you would like to donate. Year 1 had a fabulous time on Thursday visiting the Legoland Discovery Centre and The Sealife Centre in Birmingham. Throughout the day we took part in master builder workshops, explored a miniature city and enjoyed a wild 4D cinema experience with wind, rain and infectious giggles. At the Sealife Centre we marvelled at sea creature big and small, throughout the day we were thoroughly impressed by the behaviour of the children, they certainly made us proud!

Congratulations to all the pupils who took part in the Science fayre. We had some really fantastic entries from all year groups and it was incredibly hard for the Science ambassadors to select winning entries. A very well done to Emily (3rd place), Patrick (2nd place) and Zuzanna (1st place).

In Year 2, we spent time looking at the buildings created by the architect and designer Frank Gehry. After some careful planning, we then sculpted our own buildings inspired by our favourite parts of his designs. We used tin foil to replicate the titanium he often used in his designs. The children thoroughly enjoyed becoming architects for the day and created some marvellous pieces.

Mr Johnston, Miss Collins and Mr Gregory (Governor) had a wonderful time watching Art lessons, looking at children's work and speaking to children on Wednesday morning. We are very proud of art at our school and I am sure you would agree that the children are doing a fantastic job.
