It was so special to see the Year 1 children take time to reflect on the meaning of Remembrance Day this week. They showed great respect and understanding as they created their own beautiful poppies for our remembrance wreath. We were proud to bring it to Mass on Tuesday, as a symbol of gratitude and peace, remembering those who gave so much for us all.

On Friday 21st November, we are collecting items for the Christmas Fayre. Children are invited to wear non-uniform either in their year group colour from the flyer below or any bright colours. We are asking for you to send your child in with a bottle, chocolates, unwanted gifts, toiletries, toys or crafts. If your child can bring in an item in their year group colour...even better.
From Monday 1st December, we are collecting food items to support Father Hudson's Caritas.

In Art, the Year 1 children have been learning how to do observational drawings, looking carefully at real fruit and noticing all the shapes, colours, and tiny details. They have also explored tone and shading to make their drawings look more realistic and full of depth. Everyone’s fruity masterpieces look good enough to eat!

Odd Socks Day 2025!
What a fantastic start to Anti-Bullying Week! Our pupils (and staff!) proudly wore their odd socks today to celebrate what makes us all unique.
Through laughter, colour, and creativity, we shared an important message — it’s okay to be different and kindness matters every day. A huge thank you to everyone who joined in and helped spread positivity across our school community!

Today we had a very exciting delivery. We have received the published copies of 'Monster Mini Tales' containing some short stories written by our very own authors and winners of the Young Writers competition. Well done to the lucky winners - if you ordered a copy of the book it will be on its way home to you next week.

The new term has started well and the children are learning new hockey skills in Multi-Sports. This week started with stick control and passing. Reverse stick is a difficult skill to learn, but many children picked it up quickly and the passing was excellent. They put their newly learnt skills into a small sided game and showed excellent attacking and defensive tactics.

The children were busy creating fantastic work centred around Black History Month last half-term. They explored important figures, stories, and achievements, producing thoughtful and inspiring pieces to share.
